Il mio saluto al 2014 insieme a Robyberta Smile Maker!

Care Femme, ci siamo… è tempo di bilanci! Per me questo 2014 è stato un anno straordinario, stracolmo di incontri, eventi, sorprese, emozioni. E’ stato un anno incredibile, meraviglioso, commovente, ricco di energia e amore.

Raccontare ogni singola emozione è impossibile, ma simbolicamente le racchiudo tutte in due momenti “magici” di questo 2014. Il primo è la trasformazione di Femme Boutique in Femme – Curvy Concept Store.

Una trasformazione avvenuta non solo nel nome, non solo in me stessa, ma in tutte noi. Perché Femme – Curvy Concept Store è diventato una vera grande famiglia, un luogo fisico e virtuale dove incontrarsi, riscoprire valori, condividere emozioni, mettere le basi per amicizie sincere e durature.

L’altro momento? Il nostro 2° CURVY PRIDE!

Una sferzata di emozione, passione, gioia, determinazione, coraggio, libertà mi travolge ogni volta che il mio pensiero ritorna a quel sabato 8 novembre 2014. Custodita nel mio cuore. Per sempre!

E grazie al Curvy Pride ho conosciuto la famosa makeup artist e blogger Robyberta Smile Maker.

Insieme a lei ho voluto salutare il 2014 con un evento che coniugasse “il corpo” con “l’anima e il cuore”, divertendoci a cambiare il look ad alcune femme che hanno affidato il proprio viso alle mani esperte di Robyberta e le proprie curve alla mia passione incondizionata nel cercare di mostrare che dietro una grande Donna c’è sempre una grande Donna: se stessa!

Finisce un anno MERAVIGLIOSO e per il nuovo in arrivo il mio augurio è di sorridere sempre… perché la curva più seducente di una donna resta sempre il suo sorriso.

Belle Femme!!!

Eccomi finalmente sotto l’ombrellone a godermi qualche attimo di sacrosanto relax dopo un anno di grandi sacrifici e meritate soddisfazioni. L’appetito vien mangiando, però, e come vi ho accennato prima di partire…il meglio deve ancora venire!!! E non mi limiterò a metterci la curva. Ci vorrà tutta me stessa per realizzare tutto quello che mi sono messa in testa di fare. Il mio relax qui a Termoli, quindi, è solo di facciata, ma è comunque un’occasione per tirare una riga tra ricordi e progetti 😉

L’Autunno Curvy di Femme è già cominciato e non passa giorno senza pensare a tutto quello che sarà…Negozio nuovo. Idee nuove. Fatiche doppie 😉 Volevo darvi qualche indizio sul Curvy Concept Store in progress, ma ho cambiato idea. Mi piacerebbe curiosare tra i vostri pensieri e provare a capire, invece, le vostre aspettative sulla “Femme” che sta nascendo. Come ve la immaginate? Cosa vi piacerebbe trovarci? Cosa ci mettereste voi nel nuovo spazio dedicato alle curve a 360 gradi?

Vorrei che questo cambio sia anche un’occasione per raccogliere spunti, idee e suggerimenti per farvi sentire sempre più a vostro agio quando venite da Femme. Colori e fantasia per un’Estate curvy fashion!!! / Colors and fantasy for a curvy fashion Summer!!!

Eccomi Belle Femme!!!

Come state? Vi state preparando per le follie estive? O siete proiettate sul sano e meritato riposo? Mare o Montagna? Tintarella e diete per l’acchiappo o divano patatine e condizionatore per un ritemprante e ozioso stacco? Luglio, agosto o settembre? Sole, accoppiate o in amicizia? Ormai la lunga Estate non esiste più e neanche il Sole è quello di una volta, quando ci speri ti tradisce quando non ne puoi più si arroventa per dispetto e ti regala solo afa e giornate all’ultimo respiro. Gli acquazzoni a luglio e agosto prenotano pure loro, e le ferie…beato che ce l’ha 🙂 Io ancora non ho fatto programmi ma temo che sarò più cittadina che balneare. In ogni caso voglio trovarmi pronta e attrezzata per tutte le situazioni. Per questo ho pensato a un po’ di outfit abbastanza jolly per colpire nel segno sia al mare che nelle calde serate in città o, se volete, anche per una serata romantica in casa… / Here I am Belle Femme! How are you? Are you getting ready for your crazy summer? Or are uou going to have a deserved and healthy rest? Sea or Mountain? Sunbathing and diets have captured you to be ready for a “flirt” or are you going to relax on the sofa  with chips and air conditioning? On July, August or September? Single, with boyfriend or with friends? Nowadays the long Summer time does not exist anymore and even the sun is not longer what it used to be, when it comes out is just too hot and burning when you look for it never comes out… Often in July and August it rains cats and dogs and people who can go on holydays is very lucky these days… 🙂 As for me I haven’t made plans just yet, but I am afraid that I will be staying in the city rather than going to the seaside. In any case I want to be ready for all the occasions. That’s why I thought about some outfits usefull and practical for any kind of situation, at the beach, in the hot nights around the town or even for a romantic evening at home …

Per l’occasione ho scelto tutte proposte del catalogo Buby.s. Tanti colori. Fantasia e praticità. Eleganza e sobrietà, se proprio occorre. Unico limite la disponibilità di taglie che arrivano fino alla 52. Ho parlato troppo. Sarà il caldo. Ok vado agli Outfit 😉 / Today I’ve chosen all outfits of Buby.s collection. So many colors. Fantasy and handness. Elegance and understatement, if you really need it. The only limit is the size ranging up to 52. Well! Probably I talked too much because of the heat. Let’s talk about the outfits;)

Le Tutine colorate / The colored Suits

Per me è il “must have” per l’estate. Il vero jolly da tenere sempre in borsa. Sia lunga che short. La lunga da più soluzioni. Una tutina morbida più affusolata sulla gamba e piu compatta dalla vita in su. Fresca, sportiva e molto pratica. Io la preferisco a fantasia nero e bluette su base bianca ma c’è anche la variante rosa e nera. / For me it is the “must have” for the Summer. The real passepartout to keep in your bag. Either the longer than the short one. The longer gives you more solutions. A soft suit more tapered on the legs and more compact from the hips till top. Fresh, sporty and very practical. I prefer the black and blue flowered fantasy on a white base but you can find it also in pink and black.

 

La versione short è più sbarazzina e più adatta alla giornata di mare, serata inclusa. Ideale per chi vuole valorizzare le gambe. Comoda per chi non ha voglia di stare a pensare cosa mettere e come abbinare i colori. Per il mare io scelgo la fantasia colorata sempre su base bianca, ma c’è anche su base azzurra. / The short version is more saucy and more suited to day by the sea, evening included. Perfect for those who want to enhance their legs. Comfortable for those who do not want to think about what to put and how to match colors. For the sea I choose fuchsia always on a white base, but you can find it even on a light blue base. 

Il Grembiule Jeans / The Jeans Smock

Una vera chicca. Una versione glam del tipico grembiule casalingo ma in chiave sfacciatamente piu sexy con una sgambatura vietata per chi volesse passare inosservata. CIMETTOLIMPRESA – Sara Barbieri e la sua fashion curvy revolution!

 

Sara Barbieri è torinese, segno zodiacale gemelli. E’ una stilista e consulente d’immagine. Per lei “Ogni esperienza è importante, nulla si deve dare mai per scontato”.

Adora il Mondo Curvy e adora creare per le Curvy. Sposata con Yass Gaye, condivide con lui l’amore per i viaggi. Non si abbatte mai. E’ curiosa, intelligente, determinata, carismatica, piena di vita e di ottimismo. Chi la conosce non può che rimanerne affascinato.

Sara, come hai iniziato?

Sara: Ho iniziato nel 2000 aprendo un atelier a Torino per donne pressoché filiformi, adeguandomi a ciò che la moda imponeva: le taglie “slim”. L’attività è durata pochi anni perché la piazza scelta non era delle migliori.

E poi?

Sara: Poi il mio corpo è cambiato. Ad una 40 iniziale si sono aggiunte alcune taglie in più. Rendendomi conto che il mondo della moda non offriva nulla per donne come me che hanno voglia di vestirsi bene, di sentirsi femminili e seducenti a prescindere dai chili “di troppo”, ho iniziato a disegnare abiti per il mio nuovo corpo. E … da cosa è nata cosa. Mi sono guardata intorno e mi sono accorta che c’erano tante donne come me che non volevano accontentarsi, che volevano essere sexy e affascinanti. Ho iniziato così, per esigenze personali e per divertimento, a disegnare per le Curvy. Tutto questo circa 5 anni fa.

Che riscontro hai avuto?

Sara: Inizialmente mi hanno dato della pazza: “Cosa ti sei messa in testa? Ma cosa ti dice il cervello?”. Avevo tutti contro perché andavo contro i dettami della moda che si basava sul concetto di donne SLIM. E’ difficile far sfilare modelle diverse da quelle che la moda ci impone. Alla prima sfilata portai in passerella donne fino alla taglia 54! Una novità assoluta. Anche se nel concreto non ottenni grandi risultati. Io ero contenta perché ero riuscita a far sfilare le donne vere, ma i tempi non erano ancora maturi.

Non ti sei abbattuta?

Sara: Assolutamente no. Anzi, ho continuato con entusiasmo e determinazione nel cercare di esaltare e valorizzare le donne Curvy.

Quali ostacoli hai incontrato e/o incontri nella tua attività?

Sara: Rivolgendomi alle taglie forti, sono stata esclusa dal mondo della moda. Senza una solida base economica alle spalle non è facile andare avanti. Le materie prime costano, abiti di fattura medio-alta (senza arrivare all’haute couture) non sono proprio accessibili a tutte e le sfilate hanno costi elevati. Non è affatto facile. Ho anche aperto un nuovo atelier che ho chiuso dopo pochissimo tempo.

E a questo punto cosa hai deciso di fare?

Sara: Parto. Vado a Dakar, nel Senegal. Qui le donne con le curve sono il simbolo della bellezza, della salute e della sensualità. Mi confronto con la loro mentalità, studio i loro tessuti e il loro gusto per i colori. Per alcuni mesi collaboro con una stilista senegalese. Io adoro mescolare gli stili, sperimentare. In più le donne senegalesi non sono sopraffatte dagli stereotipi della moda. Loro sono fiere delle loro curve. Le nostre frasi “Oddio mi si vede la pancetta, non sono bella, come mi copro” non esistono. Anzi se sei troppo magrolina c’è qualcosa che non va.

Dopo il Senegal cosa è successo?

Sara: Piena di ispirazione torno a Torino per seguire le miei clienti più affezionate. Ma non mi fermo. Vado a Berlino e poi a Parigi. Voglio capire perché in Italia ci siano tante barriere e tanti pregiudizi. Sento, però, che la Curvy Revolution sta bussando alle nostre porte! Ci siamo (quasi)!

Quindi sono le altre culture e i viaggi che ti ispirano? Alimentano la tua creatività?

Sara: Se devi creare e proporre qualcosa di nuovo devi vedere e conoscere cosa c’è fuori, cosa avviene nel mondo. Io trovo l’ispirazione viaggiando. E’ importante, però, affiancare alle esperienze sensoriali la tecnica e lo studio. Ad esempio ho seguito diversi corsi di perfezionamento, anche presso l’Accademia di Carla Gozzi a Milano.

  

Cosa bolle in pentola oggi?

Sara: Sto preparando la mia collezione invernale e creando due vetrine on-line. Mi lancerò anche nella vendita on-line con l’obiettivo di entrare nei mercati degli Stati Uniti, Germania e Francia.

Il tuo Sogno?

Sara: Un programma televisivo esclusivamente Curvy. Per noi Donne Curvy non c’è nulla di specifico. Voglio arrivare ad avere un piccolo spazio per dare voce a tutte noi donne normali, che viviamo una vita normale fra lavoro, casa e famiglia ma che abbiamo comunque il piacere, la voglia e il desiderio irrefrenabile di … volerci bene!

Cos’è per te la bellezza?

Sara: La bellezza è ovunque, io riesco a vederla ovunque. Ogni donna a modo suo ha un qualcosa di bello o una particolarità.

A cosa una donna non deve rinunciare?

Sara: La cura di se stessa. Spesso alcune donne, con l’arrivo dei figli, fagocitate dagli impegni lavorativi tendono a lasciarsi andare. NO, non fatelo! Voletevi bene. Sempre!

Il rapporto con l’altro sesso?

Sara: Splendido. Ho un marito che amo e mi sento bene insieme a lui. Stiamo insieme da 9 anni e ci divertiamo molto. Ci siamo conosciuti in un locale qui in Italia. All’epoca ero una mezza curvy, una scarsa 44 …  ma promettevo già bene! Ci amiamo per ciò che siamo, per ciò che sognamo e per ciò che condividiamo. 

Consigli alle tue “Curvy” per stare bene con il proprio partner?

Sara: Accettarsi per quello che ognuno di noi è. Bisogna sempre sapersi valorizzare perché solo così si riesce a esprimere bellezza, sensualità, serenità. All’uomo piace avere al proprio fianco una donna curata e sensuale, a prescindere dal chilo in più o in meno.

Qual é il rapporto con il tuo corpo?

Sara: 15 anni fa ero una taglia molto magra, una 40. Poi con gli anni il mio corpo è cambiato, da solo. E’ vero che ho iniziato a non andare più in palestra con regolarità, a limitare le ristrettezze alimentari ma ho anche lasciato che il mio corpo seguisse il “proprio” istinto… Se devo dire la verità mi preferisco adesso più di quando ero magra. Adesso vestita in un certo modo, curata in un certo modo ho trovato la mia personalità, a prescindere dal peso. Io sto bene con il mio corpo. Mi va bene così, sono contenta così ….anche perché di mettermi a dieta non ho nessuna intenzione!!

Cosa ci metti nella vita?

Sara: Il PEPE. Sempre.

I Put my own Job on it – Sara Barbieri and her curvy fashion revolution!

Sara Barbieri comes from Turin, gemini is her zodiac sign. It ‘a stylist and image consultant. For her, “Every experience is important, you should never give anything for granted.” 

She loves Curvy world and she loves to create for Curvy women. She is married to Yass Gaye, she shares with him a love for travellling. She never gives up. She is curious, intelligent, determined, charismatic, full of life and optimism. Those who know her can inevitably be fascinated.

Sara, how did you start? 

Sara: I started in 2000 opening a studio in Turin for women almost threadlike, I’ve adapted myself to what fashion demanded: “slim” sizes. The activity lasted a few years because the location I choose it was not the best choice.

And then what happened? 

Sara: Then my body has changed. At the beginning I had a 40 but in a few years I became some sizes larger. So when I realize that fashion world had nothing to offer for women like me who want to be good looking, to feel feminine and seductive regardless of their “excess” pounds, I started designing clothes for my new body. And…one thing lead to another one. I looked around and I realized that there were so many women like me who did not want to settle, they wanted to be sexy and charming. That’s tha way I’ve started, for personal needs and for fun, to draw for Curvy women . All this happened about 5 years ago.

What kind of reply have you had?
Sara: At first I was considered a nut: “What’s in your mind? Are you crazy? What do you pretend to do?”. I put myself against all the fashion rules, which were based on SLIM women concept. It’s hard to find models different from those that Fashion imposes on the catwalks. But I did it! In the first parade there were women up to size 54! An absolute novelty. Although in practice I did not get great results. I was happy because I managed to shwow what real women really are, but people weren’t ready just yet.

Were you dissapointed about it ?
Sara:Absolutely not. In fact, I continued to put all my enthusiasm and determination in trying to enhance and to evaluate Curvy women.

What problems have you found in your business?
Sara: When I choose plus sizes, I put myself out from fashion world. Without a solid economic capital is not easy to get going. The raw materials cost, medium-high quality dresses (without going to haute couture) are not really accessible to every woman and the parades are very expensive. It’s not easy. I also opened a new studio that I closed after a short time.

And at this point, what have you decided to do?
Sara: I left. I’ve gone to Dakar, Senegal. Women with curves are the symbol of beauty, health and sensuality there. I met their mentality, I studied their tissues and their taste for colors. For a few months I collaborate with a designer from Senegal. I love to mix styles, experiment. Last but non least Senegalese women are not overwhelmed by the fashion stereotypes. They are proud of their curves. They can’t even understand our tipycal sentences “Oh my God you see my belly! I’m not beautyful! I need to hide my curves!”. In Senegal if you’re too skinny there is something wrong.

After Senegal, what happened?
Sara: Full of inspiration I came back to Turin to follow my most loyal customers. But I did not stop. I’ve been to Berlin and then to Paris. I wanted to understand why there are so many barriers in Italy and many prejudices. I feel, however, that the Curvy Revolution is knocking at our doors! Here we are (almost)!

So do you get inspiration from other cultures and when you travel do you feed your creativity?
Sara: If you need to create and offer something new you must see and know what’s out there, what happens in the world. I find inspiration during my journeys abroad. It’s important, however, to combine sensorial experiences with tecnicque and study. For example, I attended several courses, even at the Academy of Carla Gozzi in Milan.

What are you workiing on today?
Sara: I am preparing my winter collection and creating two online showcases. Also I’m about to start on-line sales with the goal to reach United States, Germany and France markets.

What’s your dream?
Sara: I dream about a television program exclusively for Curvy. At the moment in Italy there is nothing specific for Curvy Women. I want to create a little space to give importance and attention to all of us normal women, who live a normal life between work, home and family, but that we still have the pleasure, the willing and the burning desire to keep on loving theirselves …!

What is beauty for you?
Sara: Beauty is everywhere, I can see it everywhere. Every woman has something beautiful or special, in her way.

What a woman does not have to give up?
Sara: The care of itself. Often some women, with the arrival of children, swallowed up by work commitments tend to let go. NO, do not do it! Love yourself! Always!

How is the relationship with the opposite sex?
Sara: Wonderful! I have a husband I love and I feel good with him. We’ve been together for 9 years and we have great fun. We met in a club here in Italy. At the time I was half a curvy, low 44 … but I was increasing my size! We love each other for what we are, what we dream and what we share.

What do you suggest to Curvy women to be comfortable with their partners?
Sara: Everyone need to accept herself for what she is. You should always find how to exploit because is the only way you can express beauty, sensuality, serenity. Men like women cured and sensual, regardless of more or less pounds they get.

What is your relationship with your body?
Sara: 15 years ago I was a very skinny size, a 40 size. Then over the years my body has changed, alone. It ‘s true that I started to not go to the gym regularly, to limit food shortages but I also let my body follow the “right” instinct … To tell the truth I prefer myself now more than when I was skinny. Now if I dress in a certain way, if I take care of myself in the right way I find my personality, regardless of weight. I’m fine with my body. I’m okay, I’m so happy …So when they talk to me about diet, I’m not interested because I’m not going  to start it at all!

What do you put in your life?
Sara: a little bit of PEPPER! Always!

 

 

 

Orgogliosamente Curvy Femme!!!

Sembra incredibile ma è già passato un anno dalla nascita di questo blog…e senza starci troppo ad autocelebrare possiamo dire che sono stati dodici mesi emozionanti in cui siete state in tante a metterci la curva con me e spero che la voglia di continuare a farlo continui a crescere.

Ve lo ricordate il primo post? Dopo di quello tanti altri ne sono arrivati e a modo nostro qualcosa di morbido lo abbiamo detto e fatto…da Abercrombie al Curyy Pride, dal casting Keyrà alle Curve allo Specchio da Cimettolimpresa a Curvy Planet 😉 Non ci possiamo lamentare e vi ringrazio tutte perchè senza di voi tutto questo avrebbe poco senso.

Vi lovvo immensamente!!!

Ovviamente non potevamo farci mancare un piccolo e improvvisato Cimettolacurva Party e infatti giovedì in negozio con le poche Femme rimaste in città abbiamo approfittato per regalarci qualche peccatuccio di gola e fare un brindisi per l’anno orgogliosamente curvy passato insieme e per farci gli Auguri di Pasqua.

Adesso ci riposiamo un po’ e ci rimbocchiamo le maniche per ripartire a tutta curva sperando che i prossimi mesi ci riservino qualche piacevole e morbida sorpresa.

E vista l’atmosfera dell’altro giorno, come potete vedere dalle foto, l’anno II sembra promettere bene….<3<3<3
